After beginning yoga to help ease anxiety and stress, Alyssa noticed a significant improvement in not just her anxiety and stress but her overall well-being. She began to find herself better able to manage her emotions and handle challenging situations with greater ease. Diving full force into this new profound healing that was taking place by practicing yoga, she entered her 200-hour RYT program at Ohm Yoga Studio right away to learn more about the healing powers of yoga and to deepen her understanding of what yoga is and how to share that with others. Through her training, she gained a deeper appreciation for the mind-body connection, and she now shares her knowledge and passion for yoga with others, helping them find their own path to healing and wellness. Alyssa is also a mother to a little girl and a holistic nutrition consultant with a B.S. in Nutrition Sciences. She uses a holistic approach to healing (and motherhood), including nutrition, yoga, meditation, and breath work. Alyssa loves to challenge herself and believes true healing occurs when we start to push ourselves outside of our comfort zones. She encourages her students/ and clients to embrace discomfort and explore new ways of thinking and being. She hopes to inspire others to heal from within and find their own unique path to wellness. Alyssa believes that everyone has the power to transform their lives and create positive change, and she is committed to helping her students do so.
